Just back from a week in Cyprus, soaking up some winter sunshine. There is nothing exciting to report, because the whole week was spent relaxing, chilling, doing nothing – other than taking advantage of all of the hotel’s facilities. We ate, we laid in the sun, we swam in the pool, we drank in the bar (a fair bit), and we strolled to the mall and back – rinse and repeat.

I did smuggle an art journal and pencils into my luggage, and treated my self to some sketching-doodling time. It was great to have time to just doodle, sketch without pressure to produce anything usable …

But now I’ve had two weeks off work, it’s time to brace myself for the dreaded return to the office, on Monday.

I’ve got a busy couple of weeks ahead – BADFA’s convention in Crick, next week, and Ministry of Mixology in Coventry the week after. In between I’ve got to be in London for a photo day with Julie. Going to be looking forward to another break soon.
